The town of Los Gigantes is one of the prettiest that Tenerife has to offer. It is a small tranquil town which focal point is the marina which has space for hundreds of moorings and is often full of sleeky exotic yachts. From the marina you can take a boat ride out to the foot of the Los Gigantes cliffs where you can truly appreciate the immensity and beauty of these 800 meter monoliths. To give them their proper name Acantilados De Los Gigantes; The Cliffs of the Giants these cliffs remind you of Jason and the Argonauts and Titans and it is a foregone conclusion that when you gaze upon them especially from the boat ride you will come away with goose bumps
Although quieter then the rest of Tenerifes busy resorts a holiday in Los Gigantes doesnt mean there will be nothing to do. Seeing the sights is unavoidable given the sheer size of most of them but other activites such as watersports walking shopping and water parks are all available with easy driving distance whilst Los Gigantes centre has its fair share of bars and restaurants where there is always fun and fine food to be had.
With a fine selection of hotels in Los Gigantes all with a spectacular view to rival any in Tenerife and the relative quietness of the town then a holiday in Los Gigantes is a must. It must be said though Los Gigantes is a very hilly place and so no matter where your hotel walking will be involved!
